Also found this on Alfred. Does this mean that the funeral home has filed a claim against Alfred's Estate or the Prince Estate?

Well, I live in KCMO, they are pricey, but I didn't see any roads shut down, for Alfred's.

Actually I would say that is about right. 4 years ago my Dad's cost around 21K, we didn't have anything fancy, no limo's, etc...

And my Dad already had the plot...

Funerals are priced based on the casket that's picked out.
Since Alfred was a veteran, he could have been interred for free at any Veterans' cemetery. We've heard of no direct heirs. I wouldn't be surprised if whoever made his arrangements got a big kickback from the funeral home.

My in-laws had "prepaid" funerals but after they died, te funeral home came up with all kinds of "extra costs" that were not included.
After going through that, my own family discussed and our parents were cremated. No funeral. We just got together.

How? Prince was cremated and his remains were placed in a purple metal urn.

I saw the remains at Paisley in a clear model of Paisley Park at the top of the atrium in 2018. Did the metal urn come happen before or after this?

I dont see how it could cost big bucks. It was a miniature model. Not more than 30 inches width I believe.

I'd imagine that $82k+ figure is composed of more than the urn and the cremation but without a detailed report about it, it's anyone's guess what it was spent on. I'm sure the memorial service as well as whatever kind of gathering was held was included in that but no idea what else may have gone into it.

There were 7 crystals place on the custom made Urn, with Tyka placing the last one. It also has working lights, and a miniture of his purple piano.

If this was the one I saw, then I couldve sworn the bottom of the model was see through and I could see the ashes at the bottom looking up. Anybody else who visited and saw who can confirm?

All I saw was the milky semi-see through box the urn model was in above the door of the little kitchen.

Alfred hired Justin and he was a very young attorney with little experience in Probate matters, but 'eh it happens.

The photo in the article shows Alfred with his brother??

Alfred was a mystery brother. So many rumors about him.

The heirs are the ones who racked up the bills and as we all know, bills must be paid. Shouldn't be a concern for anyone else. I don't understand the pearl-clutching over these kinds of things at all.

The heirs spending has me wondering, was Prince giving them this much money when he was alive and now the heirs are struggling for not having the cash in flows?
